	Here's a list of FREE kid Art and Science project, to help promote creativity and imagination with these arts and craft project and arts craft idea made from simple materials. This month January 2009 make file folders by recycling your old desktop calendar from last year.

Project of the Month (January)

Make your own File Folder

You will Need:
1) Old desktop calendar
2) Rubber bands
3) scissors and glue

Step 1:

Take the wire ring out of the top of the desktop calendar.

If you like any of the pictures from the old calendar, cut them out too. Use the glue and paste the pictures on all the outside in front and back of the calendar stand.

Step 2:

Take a rubber band, cut it so that it forms a straight rubber string. Tie a knot on one end and pass the other end through both top corner hole of the calendar, tie another knot.

Repeat for the other rubber band and the other corner.

How you are ready to hold papers and documents in this file folder.
