June 2009 Beaded Crystal Ring Project

You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beaded project and other project. This month, I would like to feature the instruction on a beaded crystal ring made with Swarovski Crystals, using the right angle weave beading technique pattern.

Beaded Crystal Ring

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Step 1:
  • Cut a piece of beading thread around half a meter long.

Add six purple 3mm crystals in the middle of the thread and crisscross the other end through the last added crystal.

Make sure your beaded crystal circle is at the center of the string.
Step 2:
  • Continue to:

Add one purple 3mm crystal on each end of the string (total of two).
Add one last 4mm white or pink crystal to crisscross both lines through.
Step 3:
  • Continue to:

Add one purple 3mm crystal on each end of the string (total of two).
Add one last purple 3mm crystal to crisscross both lines through.
Step 4:
  • Continue to:

Add two purple 3mm crystal on each end of the string (total of four).
Add one last purple 3mm crystal to crisscross both lines through.
  • Keep repeating this step until you get the length of the ring you want.
Step 5:
  • Joining:

Add two purple 3mm crystal on each end of the string (total of four).
Pass only one side of the string through the very first center bead added in step 1 (with the black dot)

Tie off, don't cut away excess just yet, try to pass the string back through the piece as much as you can before cutting away excess. This is for a more secure piece.
