Project of the Month (April)

Make your own Easter Egg Popsicles! (note you will  need adult help in making this)

You will Need:
1)   Eggs

3)   Cooking Pan
4)   Round Popsicle sticks or skewer sticks
5)
Syringe (the type without needle - for feeding babies medicine).
6)   Soda or soft drinks or juices of different flavors.
Step 1:  Take the egg, puncture a small hole at the tip of the egg using an ice pick. Use a long tooth pick or chopstick to help empty out the content of the egg, you only need the shell.

Sanitize the egg by placing them in a cooking pan, filled with water (covering the egg shells) cook for few minutes. Carefully remove to cool and drain.
Step 2:  Using the syringe, or a funnel if you have one, pour the soda or soft drinks or juices into the egg until it is full.
Step 3:  After you have filled up the eggs with lets say orange juice, insert a round Popsicle stick into the hole and all the way to the bottom of the egg, let the eggs sit this way on an egg tray and place it into the freezer (the compartment for freezing ice).

The next day, bring them out, quickly and carefully break away all the egg shells and there you go Easter Egg Popsicles!
