	Here's a list of FREE kid Art and Science project, to help promote creativity and imagination with these arts and craft project and arts craft idea made from simple materials. This month December 2006 recycle a glass jar to become a beautiful lava lamp.

Project of the Month (December)

Make your own Glass Jar Lava Lamp

You will Need:
1)   Clean and dry empty glass jar (transparent - tear out any stickers on the surface of the jar)
2)  Oil mixed with your favorite color of food coloring.
2)   Water

Step 1:

Take the jar (without the cap) fill it half full of water.

Fill the rest of the jar up with colored oil (mixed before hand and left to set for 15 minutes)

Screw on the cap tightly and make sure it does not leak by adding tape around the rim of the cap if necessary.

Turn it over and place it upside down and you will see the lava lamp effect.
