Make your own Heart Shape Gift Box

You will Need:
1)    One or two big piece of thick paper or cardboard.
2)    Glue
3)   Scissor
Step 1:  Cut two heart shapes out of the thick paper or cardboard - the size would depend on how big you want your box to be and what you want to put in the box. (one heart must be l cm bigger all around than the other)
Heart Shape Box Step 1
Step 2:  Measure the circumference (the outside edge all around the heart shape) of the smaller heart - e.g. 16 cm.

Cut a long piece of rectangular piece 18 cm long (2 cm extra for gluing) and the width which will be the height of your box will depend on how deep you want your box to be (also leaving an extra 2 cm for gluing).

Fold a 2 cm all the way along the length of the rectangle paper stripe. (shown in the picture in darker red)

Cut small slits along the 2cm stripe (in darker red) each slit around 2 cm apart from each other. (shown in the picture at the bottom)

Heart Shape Box Step 2
Step 3: Glue on the rectangle stripe starting either from the top center or bottom center of the heart shape paper cut out (the smaller piece).

You will need to glue the both ends of the rectangle pieces together after that.

Now you have the bottom half of the box next for the top lid of the box.

Heart Shape Box Step 3
Step 4: Repeat step 1 and 2 but have a thinner rectangle stripe as you do not need the depth to be too deep for the lid of the box.
Step 5: Now you have it a heart shape box, you can write your love message on the top lid of the box or add a ribbon to the top corner for a nicer presentation.
