This month's project is a 3-D beaded rabbit charm, made with Japanese glass seed beads using the Right Angle Weave technique (RAW). Great as a Easter fashion accessory charm, a jewelry gift or gift. Beaded Rabbit Tutorial

Step 49:
  • Before you continue to add the tail, pass the bottom (red) string through three beads from step 44 and 45 (marked with A, B and C).
Step 50:
  • Continue to add the tail:

    Using the same thread from step 49, add one new bead, and tie the two strings together, pass the excess strings back through the piece and cut away excess.
Step 51: Hands and carrot or egg:
  • Cut a new piece of string around 5 cm long.
  • Pass one end of the string (starting from the red dot) through the beads on the body marked with A, B, C and D.
  • Add four new beads, followed by the egg or carrot you made earlier, followed by another four new beads.
  • Continue to pass the string up back through the beads on the body marked with  A, B, C and D.
  • Tie off and string excess back through the piece before cutting away excess.
Step 52: The ears:
  • Look back to step 5 and 6 and note the place to add each ear.
  • Cut a new piece of thread around 8 cm long.
  • Pass the string through one side of the ear's starting bead, balance out both ends of the strings.
  • Add one bead on each side of the string (total of two) add one more new bead to crisscross both lines through the new added bead (as shown where both arrows are coming out of).
Step 53:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on each side of the string, continue to pass the right (red) string through the last added bead on the left (black) string.
Step 54:
  • Continue to:

    Add four beads on the left (red) string, crisscross the right (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through the one bead from step 53. (marked with A).
Step 55:
  • Continue to:

    Add three beads on the bottom (red) string, crisscross the top (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one bead from step 54 (marked with A).
Step 56:
  • Continue to:

    Add four beads on the left (red) string, crisscross the right (black) string through all the four beads. Continue to pass the red string through the four beads marked with A, B, C and D. Continue to pass the black string through the four beads marked with A, B, C and D.
    Pass the strings to meet head to head and tie off. Make sure you pass the excess strings back through the piece a few times before cutting away excess.
  • Repeat step 52 to 56 for the other ear.
