February 2012 Beaded Heart in Heart Charm Project.

You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beading tutorials and other project. This month's project is a 3D beaded double Heart in Heart charm, made with clear Japanese glass seed beads and silver beads using right angle weave Beading technique. Great as earrings, pendant or simply as a charm.

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Beaded 3D Double Heart in Heart Charm:

What you need:

1)   Glass seed beads size 11/0 (clear silver), 3mm silver beads or crystals.
2)   Beading string (0.25mm), one long head pin and pliers.

Always Remember to pull tight on EVERY STEP.

 Double Heart Tutorial
Step 1: Making the inner heart:
  • Go to this tutorial and bead from step 1 to 43. Tie off!
    You should have make a 3D small puffy heart for the center.
 
Step 2:

Making the outer heart:

  • Cut a new piece of string, around 1 meter long.:

    Add two seed bead, one 3mm silver bead, two seed bead and one last 3mm silver bead to crisscross both strings through.

Step 3:
  • Continue to:

    Add two seed beads on each side of the string (total of 4 added).
    Add one 3mm silver bead to crisscross both strings through.
    Repeat this step 2 more times.

Step 4:
  • After repeating step 3 two times - Continue to:

    Add two seed beads on the left (black) string.
    Add one seed bead on the right (red) string.
    Add one 3mm silver bead to crisscross both strings through.
    Repeat this step 2 more times.

Step 5:
  • After repeating step 4 two times - Continue to:

    Add three seed beads on the left (red) string.
    Add one seed bead on the right (black) string.
    Add one 3mm silver bead to crisscross both strings through.
    Repeat this step one more time.

Step 6:
  • After repeating step 5 one time - Continue to:

    Add two seed beads on the left (black) string.
    Add one seed bead on the right (red) string.
    Add one 3mm silver bead to crisscross both strings through.
    Repeat this step two more times.

Step 7:
  • After repeating step 6 two times - Continue to:

    Add one seed bead, one 3mm silver bead, one seed bead and one last 3mm silver bead on the bottom (red) string.
    Crisscross the other (black) string through the last bead added.

    Repeat step 6 three times;
    Repeat step 5 two times;
    Repeat step 4 three times;
    Repeat step 3 four times.

Step 8:
  • After all the repetitions - Continue to:

    Add one seed bead, one 3mm silver bead and one last seed bead on the bottom right (red) string.
    Pass the other string (black) down through one old bead marked A. Continue to pass this black string through all the 3 beads added on this step.

Step 9:
  • Continue to:

    Add one 3mm silver bead, one seed bead, one 3mm silver bead, one seed bead and one last 3mm silver bead on the right (black) string and crisscross the other (red) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through two old beads (marked A and B).

Step 10:
  • Continue to:

    Add two seed beads and one 3mm silver bead on the bottom (red) string and crisscross the other (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through two old beads (marked A and B).

    Repeat this step 6 more times.

Step 11:
  • After repeating step 10 six times - Continue to:

    Add three seed beads and one 3mm silver bead on the left (black) string and crisscross the other (red) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through three old beads (marked A, B and C).

    Repeat this step 11 once more.
    Follow by repeating:
    step 10 six more times;
    step 11 two more times;
    step 10 seven more times;
    Finally pass the bottom string up through one old 3mm Silver Bead and tie off. Pass the excess string back through the piece for a more secure knot.
