 Two Drop Brick Stitch Instruction

The beading instruction on two drop brick stitch - this technique makes a brick stitch project goes faster.  Also see our instruction on flat brick stitch and circular brick stitch.

Two Drop Brick Stitch

Notes before you start: For beginners, please visit Flat Brick Stitch Instruction before you attempt this.

The on two drop brick stitch beading is done by picking up 2 beads per stitch instead of one. You can try a three drop brick stitch yourself too.

The instruction for the first row of the brick stitch can be found at Flat Brick Stitch Instruction
Row 2: pick up 2 beads and loop the line through the joining string from the previous row and then loop back through the 2 new added beads.  Repeat this throughout the entire row.
Row 3: it is advised to bead an alternate row of single brick stitch - e.g. row 1 = single brick stitch, row 2 = two drop brick stitch, row 3 = single brick stitch, row 4 = two drop brick stitch and so forth.
